The founder Timm Kragl has been working since 2001 in 3D CAD for mechanical design, quality assurance / reverse engineering and since 2006 in 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing. In January 2009 Phanos 3D was founded with the focus in mechanical (re-)design, data generation, additive manufacturing and consulting.

Since that time, Phanos 3D has carried out various consulting projects for customers from different verticals, e.g. specialized machinery /  automation, automotive, aviation, chemical industry, medical and dental technology and consumer goods.

What started as individual product consultancy a few years ago has now turned into process consultancy around AM using modern and efficient software tools, such as Manufacturing Execution Systems, Design Automation or integrated CAM Systems.
